I was born on a summer night in Toms River, New Jersey to a very athletic and non-musical family. Although neither of my parents ever performed, they enjoyed music and theatre and I found myself drawn to it from a very early age. I will always remember the days my mom sat my older brother and I on the couch to record us singing Disney songs with her camcorder and memorizing every single word to Les Miserables & Phantom of the Opera with my dad on car rides. Soon enough, I began singing in a touring children's choir and studying voice, piano, & music theory, but only after basketball practice.
In the spring of my 8th grade year, I auditioned for a classical voice program at a performing arts high school an hour away from home. When accepted, I would wake up at 5AM every morning and commute to make it to my 7:30AM choir rehearsals. Meanwhile, I performed at a myriad of local community theatres in shows such as: Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Addams Family, Jekyll & Hyde, etc... and began working at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre as a teacher of children's theatre camps and performing in my very first paying show: Curious George and the Golden Meatball. I was mentored by director Dean Sobon and my love for theatre grew and grew. By the end of my Junior year, I completed all required school credits and decided to only take an online English class my final year and save for college working more hours at a local restaurant. I ended up being cast in the ensemble of Fulton Theatre's Kinky Boots which ran only a week before closing in March 2020 due to Covid. A few months later I graduated high school and was accepted to the Musical Theatre program at the Manhattan School of Music!
I moved to New York City to attend the Manhattan School of Music in September of 2020. Due to Covid, all classes were held in dorms on zoom and I became very comfortable using my twin bed frame as a ballet bar. I adored my time at MSM and learned from many legendary teachers such as: David Loud, Mana Allen, Claudia Catania, and Enrique Brown. After my freshman year, I transferred to a new program called The Institute For American Musical Theatre in Washington Heights. This two year school offered 3-5 dance classes every day, from acclaimed teachers such as: Nicholas Cunningham, MJ Slinger, Lizz Picini, Amanda LaMotte, Cameron Adams, Deanna Doyle, and many more. I was able to participate in workshops of many new musicals: The Dogs of Pripyat, Zombie Musical, Brilliance, and Evolution of Mann. It was at this school I met my current voice teacher: Bradley Dean, and became signed with Take 3 Talent Agency. Acting teacher/head of the program, Michael Minarik, truly changed my life and I will forever carry the lessons I learned from him very close to my heart! During breaks from school, I performed as an onstage swing of Fulton Theatre's Jersey Boys (in which made my principal debut as Mary Delgado), played Eve in an absurdist play: Godless at the NY Theatre Festival, and swung Murder on the Orient Express at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. I graduated in May of 2023 and have been performing consistently ever since.
The summer after graduating from IAMT, I portrayed Katherine in NEWSIES at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre! Not even a day after closing, I took my first plane ride (Ah!) to Fort Myers, Florida to play Mary Debenham in Agatha Christie's Murder On The Orient Express. After a month of auditioning in the city, I returned to the Fort Myers for ELF as a dancer and Jovie U/S. In November of 2023, I was very surprised and beyond honored to have booked the role of Anya in the regional premiere of ANASTASIA at White Plains Performing Arts Center out of 2,500 submissions and auditioners. This show marked my New York theatre debut and my first Equity production with a principal role! ANASTASIA opened to wonderful reviews and sold out audiences; I even had fan-art made of me! The show closed on Januray 7th and I am still pinching myself about how lucky I am to have had this experience with the most incredible cast! As of now, I am living in Queens, NY working, auditioning, and drinking a lot of coffee!
Thank you so much for reading! Have a great day!
